I hope you might have heard that Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is starring in the play Equus......also with a nude scene.........What's ur opinion???????? Send me any pic of the play, if possible...

i think he should take some hormones to stunt his growth, keep his voice from changing, and stop all body hair growth. that way he can play Harry Potter forever, or maybe Peter Pan.

My opinion is that the people who are complaining about Radcliffe's career choice have either:
1) not read "Equus"
2) somehow believe that he owes it to them to play Harry Potter (and nothing else) for the rest of his life.
The young man wants to prove his mettle as an ACTOR, for heaven's sake. "Equus" is a great play, and the role of Alan Strang is one that Radcliffe will have to rise to.

Equus means horse.
I can only imagine how that fits in with Daniel Radcliffe and nudity.

Yes, Dan is staring in Equus. Get over it. I mean just because he's going to do a naked scene doesnt mean that he wants to exploit himself or ruin his innocence as so many of you are complaining about. If he was really worried about ruining his innocence or ruining his reputation, im sure he wouldnt be doing this movie and as for the whole "OMG, danny's gonna be nakey" attitude that some people have ... seriously ... you get "nakey" too

I've read "Equus" and it's a very powerful play that I cannot imagine someone like Daniel portraying. But he may surprise us.

Well, he's probably trying his hardest to move away from his stereotypical role as Harry Potter. It's going to be really hard to shake that image. Especially in a movie with such a huge fan base. You have to take into account that he's an adult playing a child. Here are some picture that I found....rather interesting.

i saw the play, with a different cast of course, about a year ago. i don't know- can daniel radcliffe really act? the role requires alot from the actor. i agree with the other post, you should either go see the play or read it, if you want to know so badly.
