And wondered If anyone would recommend a week at Cozumel or would Puerto Vallarata be better for a weeks vacation?

You should think about Acapulco it is my favorite city in Mexico. It is just such a great place. I have never been to Puerto Vallarata but I have been to Cozumel. Cozumel is beautiful but look into Acapulco.

It really depends on what you like, there are tons of great places in Mexico, but i see you like the beach, so let me tell you. Cozumel is a very small island near Cancun, what is great about it is the color of the sea and the views. You can also snorkel and everything but swimming is hard because the water is very low. In Cancun there are a lot of tourists and it is more expensive than other places, it is a very americanized place. Acapulco is great if you prefer a mexican style vacation... there are american tourists, but not as much as in Cancun. It is not very expensive as Cancun is, but the sea is not that colorful. However the weather is great and they are very nice there. In Puerto Vallarta you can find an Acapulco idea, but with more tourists and there is more construction, not that virgin. Cabo is also great, there are a lot of golf places, the sea is great and the weather too. Its up to you!!! But I'm sure you will enjoy your vacation in Mexico. Good luck!

Everyone has different tastes and experiences, so I don't want to steer you away from Cozumel or Vallarta, but I'd go to Acapulco, Mazatlan or Puerto Escondido instead. Wherever you go, have a great trip.

That depends on if you are into snorkeling , diving and marinelife in general. Cozumel is the absolute best for that.

besides the reality that i genuinely like the Mexican team, i do no longer think of they're going to conquer Argentina. Argentina is a remarkable team who finished first of their team winning all 3 video games. Mexico in spite of the undeniable fact that finished 2d of their team. i think of it will be a desirable game to observe yet i'm going to place my money on Argentina!!

I would recommend Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. it is nicer than Acapulco as that city has gon up in violence and is kind of dirty. Ixtapa is way nicer than acapulco and has many calm beaches and hotels.
