Nothing - but I know a girl who has. She spoke of a conversation she had had (luckily I was there and heard it), she made the other person sound really bad because she left off all the bits that she herself had said. but as I don't like that sort of thing, I made sure the person knew the truth.
A girl at work was jilted at the altar and from then hated seeing anyone happy. When she found out that someone at work was secretly dating someone else she rang their partner and told.
I was brought up with these words "jealousy kills". So I've never let jealousy get to me. I was also taught "never listen to tittle tattle". Oh Dad I miss you so.

I might have missed the meaning of this question but,..
.if you have done horrible things to another person for petty reasons,...and folks know you have done it and thus have a negitive opinion of you....how are you giving off a "wrong impression" ? You ARE that person,...are you not?
not judging you, just answering your question.

I don't completely understand whether you mean horrible things i've done to give the wrong impression of me to someone or to give the wrong impression of a third party to someone else? but i worked at mcdonalds for a long time, met my partner there actually, and made a good many friends there- a lot of whom i'm still in touch with. one of th staff trainers there, a guy i shall call norman, i fell hard for; wanted him in every way imaginable, loved the thought of us being together, couldn't stand the idea of him being happy with someone else. when he and i started having an affair (he was married (unhappily) with a two year old son), i relished the thought of getting one up over his missus. a few months down the line, a gorgeous girl started work with us, and she and norman flirted constantly. i hated the jealousy building up in my head but did nothing to stop it. one night, we all went down the local night club and had a wicked night, but all the way ther, they held hands like a proper couple, laughed and flirted the whole night- and i got madder and madder- in th end i couldnt stand it anymore, followed her to the toilet and told her he was a total slag, sleeping with any girl who went near him. she was horrified and left early for home, barely spoke to himagain, and left mcds a couple of weeks later. i should have been satisfied, but every time i looked at him, i could see how much he wanted her, liked her- and he didnt even know how much she liked him. i felt so bad i tried to contact her again but she ignored my calls and messages and i hardly spoke to her again. he's since left his missus and is now with another girl and theyre very happy- but if i hadnt said those things to her, he'd be happier with the other girl. ill regret that for the rest of my life.

During the late sixties, I lied and told everyone Peter Sutcliffe had murdered at least thirteen women in Yorkshire, all because he gave me a funny look.
I over-react sometimes.

My motto in life is "Don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you"
That should answer your question.
