I don't mind seeing ads, I just don't like the idea of sending ads to people whenever I email them.

If you don't want advertisements then use your company's, if you're working in a company, email address, if your company has a website.
Free public emails always have advertisements because these advertisements are what is keeping your free email, like yahoo,for free.
Don't mind those advertisements as long as you're getting free email. Otherwise get your own website so that you can have emails free of ads.
With a website you'll have to pay for the domain name, and and pay annual fee for the server that will launch your website on the internet.

I am using gmail also, its pretty nice without any ads at the bottom

If you want to use free mail service you should accept banners and adds as a gift . That s the way of e-mail industry works.

I like gmail .. no ads
plus you can use it with pop mail client like thunderbird or outlook
