We've started a discussion group about hummingbirds on yahoo and would like to know if there are any ways to can get more members to join.

1. Go to the bird/aquiline associations and let them know what you are doing and ask them if you could have a link attached to their page to redirect them to your group that specifically speaks about that species.

2. Post it in the library relevant to the zones your interested in, attracting the publish from those areas/zones.

3. Post it in your city or town's local listings in the web under Interests and Hobbies.

4. Ask at the schools if they would be interested in participating on a discussion about the birds, offer them a guest speaker for the children and all that would correlate. You could then give out the web address to the children for their parents on a flyer.
These are all usually free of charge.

Ask at the various construction trades' union hall's, Contact the warden at San Quentin state prison in California to see if any inmates would like to participate. Try the local homeless shelters. You might also check with the Hells Angel's motorcycle gang or the crips or the blood's street gangs. Oops, sorry I didn't believe you were serious. Good luck.

you need to advertise it. go onto message boards where ppl might be interested in hummingbirds and let them know about your group. good luck!

give advertisement & tell special about discussion group ,so that they are attracted to join your group

advertise and word gets around. make it fun and interesting they are beautifuf little creatures...........
