I started to cross dress when I was 11 years old. (I'm 24 now) I was hooked from the first second I put on my sister's dress. I gave up trying to figure out why a long time ago. I just love doing it, I feel comfortable with who I am, and that's good enough for me.

I don't count myself as a crossdresser but have worn a few dresses and skirts. It was for skits and plays. When putting away my costume for medieval or ancent characters I often discover that it came from the women's wardrobe section. The characters often were supposed to have long hair, but it made me look like a flat-chested woman. When they put a beard on me it made people laugh, so we dispensed with the fake hair.

I did dress as a woman for Halloween at work one year. It was a hoot. When I sat down at my desk, no one noticed. When I answered the phone with my normal voice, a chorus of OMGs went up around me. I guess I "passed".

But I don't get my personal jollies wearing women's clothes, yet I have worn them. Which side of your tally will you mark me?

I have but I consider it an addiction that I struggle with. I don't want to be a crossdresser and I believe it hurts my family and loved ones. Society wants boys to be happy being boys and girls to be happy being girls. When someone feels like they NEED to wear the other gender's clothes, and they they try harder and harder to look passable,,, well something's not right.

I doubt that society will ever find it acceptable, and I doubt that my wife will ever have a positive thought on it either.

I have been crossdressing for over 30 years. I enjoy embracing the feminine side of my persona. And BTW, I am hetero in a monogamous relationship.

i have a friend that cross dresses but I think that if you look half decent then its ok but if you look like a clown because you dont know exactly how to dress or do your make up then please people keep it within your own walls. Otherwise to each his own is my opinion

Almost everyone is considered "popular" by someone else, your friend is right, talk to him, get to know him, and if you need an excuse get your friend to be talking to them and you join in on the conversation and start talking more and more to him everyday until you know him and feel comfortable asking him out.

try whatever you want! i encourage you to express yourself. if a man i dated wanted to experiment with women's clothes- why not? as a girl, i've always wanted to wear men's clothes, especially suits and tuxedos, but they're hard to find.
