If you're truly worried, take a pregnancy test. Odds are that you're NOT pregnant and are worrying for nothing.
However, you sound intelligent to know that you CAN get pregnant while taking the pill.
My advice is to wait a few more days. If you still haven't started, go to your local drugstore and buy a test. In the long run, those few dollars spent on the test is worth your peace of mind!

I don't think it's anything to worry about. Maybe the hormones in this pack will help your period be lighter and shorter. I've been on Yasmin for years and my periods would always start Thurs am after the last pill on Sat. Now with Yasmin they don't start till mid-Friday.
Especially since you haven't been sexually active since October, it's nothing to worry about. You did have your period in November and December like normal, right?

This just could be your body's reaction to the new medicine. Birth control pills work by making the body think you are pregnant, so this might explain the short delay. if the period is more than a week late, go see a doctor. But right now I would say it is fine.

you're probably fine, that is fi you truly haven't had sex in that long. nothing is fool-proof-----so not even birth control can regulate your period EVERY time. I'd say give it a week, if it's still not here THEN consult your doctor. Stressing, new exercise routines, illness, or even binge eating can alter your period, so stop worrying about it being late and maybe it'll come! good luck

maybe a little over worried, although you never know, i wouldnt worry yet, if you were only supposed to get it yesterday i would just wait & see, also the stress you are causing yourself is going to make it even worse, your body reacts to that, so just try to calm down and not even worry/think about it, and if in a week or so you still havent gotten it then maybe you should do something about it - good luck =-)

if you're worried about being pregnant, then yeah, you're being overly worried. I would give it a few more days, or even just blow this cycle off, but if the next one isn't regular, then you might want to talk to your doctor.
also, if you haven't had sex since october, maybe there's stress in your life that could be preventing it?

Worrying causes stress and the stress causes your period to come late.So just calm down and don't worry about as long as your sure you can't be pregnant. if it doesn't come by your next month then call the doctor.
