How could i restore my OutLook address book?

Question

I created a new account in my windows XP Prof and deleted the old account and its files ! (After I removed the virus brontok.A)

Now when i open the OutLook the emails and address book is not there! :(((((
i always do send/recieve to get emails.


How could i restore them?

Unfortunately because you deleted the account, you will have deleted the outlook address book and the .pst file which contains all your old inbox etc. You could download specialist recovery software like Stellar Phoenix NTFS, this will scan your drive for all files including deleted ones, BUT you may have already overwritten the area of the hard drive they were stored on, so I think you are going to have to take a deep breath and start again. Incidentally you can export your address book into excel, might be worth doing that every so often so this doesn't happen again. Hope that helps a bit :) [e-mail]
