Lobik: There is no evidence of anything called "normal warming trends", so I don't see how you can say that is the truth.

Yes he should. Gore got information out to the public that the press wouldn't cover and brought public opinion around - something very hard to do.
And as for that pathetic 'normal' argument, it is Gore's film that pointed out the loss of snowcover on mountains and the loss af arctic ice - something that has not happened before and does not rely on complicated deviations from average to see.

He is only furthering his own agenda. The truth about global warming is we are experincing normal warming trends. In 1975 Time Magazine ran a cover story warning us how scientists were concerned that a new ice age was coming, because temperatures were declining.
