Do dvds recorded on a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4284 with WinDVD Creater Version 2 have a region code?

I recently bought a toshiba laptop and I'm burning home videos to dvd-r. I was wondering if the output dvds are region restricted.

Not familiar with that application. Check the options of the program. With most recording software, if you don't specify the region it will not add any restrictions.

DVD playing software like PowerDVD (no sure how to do it in Windvd) can tell you what region the disk is. In PowerDVD, right click on the video screen and select CONFIGURATION and the click the INFORMATION tab. It will then tell you what region the disk is that's playing.
