Sounds easy enough to me, stop spending money on your credit cards. If you don't have the money to pay for something you certainly can't afford to buy it on credit.

What I do when I want to track my spending is get a diary and a pen and literally write down every penny I spend. I put it all on a spread sheet along with the income for the month and the bills that are due in. It really helps to keep things under control. I divide it up on the spread sheet into supermarket shopping, fuel, eating out, etc so I know where all the money is going. I'm self employed to it helps me plan how much money I need to be earning for future months if I know where it's all going.

It sounds like you want to spend only $80/month. Realistically, with a child, I don't see how this can be done. It would help a lot if you would get child support from your daughter's father -- regardless of what he thinks/says about it, he owes her. Also, try to go down to only one credit card. I wish you luck, my dear. I'm glad you care enough about yourself & your daughter to start thinking/asking about issues like this.
