When you describe someone as flaky, you mean that they are rather eccentric and unreliable. It is used showing disapproval. ex...He wondered if the idea wasn't just a little too flaky, a little too outlandish. *

flaky= spacy, like jessica simpson and the tuna fish incident..lol. flaky can also mean a tad crazy, ditzy or flighty.

Flaky means that someone is not definite. Shows up sometimes, short on money..
etc.....Joe is suppose show up but he is shaky sometimes.
