after careful consideration of the candidates on both sides of the fence, I have concluded that the next president should be

Homer is smarter, wiser, and lots more fun than any of the idiots running.

If you're asking who has the best chance, then Hillary is out. Although she has the skills necessary to be President, she can't pull enough voter support.
I think that Mitt Romney is probably the candidate that best responds to the needs of both sides. Although he believes in equal rights for everyone, black or white, old or young, gay or straight, he supports the popular traditional view of the family. He also supports stem cell research and calls for more monitored government spending (instead of higher taxes) to respond to budget deficit problems. He turned a huge deficit in Massachussets into a $1 Billion budget surplus without raising taxes even a dime.
Romney also has a clean past. No one as of yet has been able to dig up any "dirt" on him. He has a firm platform and doesn't rely on slandering other candidates to build his following. Plus, he's younger than Clinton, McCain, Giuliani, or Obama.
One thing that may hurt his chances, however, is that he is LDS (Mormon). Although his religious affiliation has caused no bias to his decisions as governor (evidenced by his huge following in Massachussets, the most liveral state in the union), some older-generation voters may be somewhat apprehensive to the idea, just like people thought that the Catholic Church was taking over America when Kennedy was elected. It was an unfounded fear, but a fear nonetheless and one that almost kept him out of the Oval Office.

Well not to sure about the republican side. but on the dem side i think Hillary does. It can not be any worse then it already is, I just feel sorry for whichever one does take office because they will be the one cleaning up the mess that the so-called president we have no has made. But as of now I will be voting for hillary, its time we get a change in office, and we already see that america wants change, because they have voted dems to take control of congress. But it is way to early to tell "who" will actually win..

So far don't go for the big $$ campaigns-someone is sponsoring them obviously. Check into the background of any candidate considered. I'm looking into Huckabee/Hunter and as for Dem someone other than a Socialist or culture conflict type candidate even though they have millions in campaign funds already to blast everybody with.

The person who gets the most votes. Whoops! I mean, the most ELECTORAL votes. In 2000 Al Gore actually got the most votes, the most POPULAR botes. Bush got the Supreme Court to GIVE him the election on a silver texas platter.
With the ongoing crisis of America being held hostage by a rogue, runaway executive branch, we thought it was time to return to the scene of the original crime that made this horror possible: the theft of an election from the American people by five members of the Supreme Court.
How can you get over a man who lost a presidential election by more than 540,000 votes acting like a dictator for six years -- and doing everything in his power to build the institutional constructs of fascism?
Over the past few years, whenever the White House has seen or sensed trouble looming for its most controversial and tenuous positions in the legal war on terrorism, it has suddenly changed course, altered the playing field, or unilaterally declared itself beyond the purview of the prevailing rule of law. No legal defeats for this administration, no explicit concession of limits on its authority, just a series of tactical or strategic retreats that allow it to show to the world a visage of supreme executive branch power-- while at the same time allowing it at some future date to advance the same losing arguments. And all of it is done in secret, under the cloak of national security, so as to hide not just true secrets but embarrassing facts and legal opinions.
There are terrorists in the world, but Bush and Cheney are not conducting a war against terrorism. They are conducting a war on democracy, a war against the will of the American people, a war against the truth.
With the ongoing runaway administration steaming ahead toward Armageddon, it is important to read this book to remember that all of this current horror and destruction of democracy came about as the result of a partisan crime sanctioned by 5 members of America's top court.
Even George W. Bush -- as feeble-brained and psychiatrically-impaired as he is -- knows that if you can steal a presidency, you can pretty much get away with anything, even signing a death warrant for American GIs.

Be honest, I don't know. I don't think Hillary can win and I have no idea who the republican will be since the media doesn't cover their primaries.

Well, the Republican with the best chance is probably Mark Foley. At least we know he is innocent.
Bill Cosby would be good as a Democratic president.
