It is normal to be scared and labor is painful no matter what kind of drugs you have. Still, your fear now is telling you that you are not ready for a baby. Hardly anyone in the western world dies in childbirth. Pregnancies are monitored and there is all sorts of education available for new moms and expectant moms. You could think of it this way, many women have babies and I have never heard a woman say "too painful, I wish I had not done this" You don't mention your age, but you sound young. Women can become moms until well into their 30's, so maybe you need a bit more time. Good luck.

I know how you feel...........I'm scared myself. I've never had kids because of fear and the extreme pain. Also, I haven't met the right person to really, really have one. But, they do say when you do have either a boy or a girl. Somehow, the pain and fear is forgotten and all worth it when looking at this beautiful miracle. I have heard some women have died during childbirth too! But, I think it's inherited through mother, grandmother, etc. I would check it out and hopefully things weren't all that bad and it may just go so well for you. You could also check with your doctor and maybe get checked out too about any future problems, complications, etc. I hope this was helpful? All the best!

Yes, some women are scared to have kids, some because of the pain in childbirth, others for different reasons. The chances of a woman dying nowadays in childbirth in North America are slim with the advances in medical technology. You can always be given a shot before you give birth, so that there won't be much pain.

Sure, every woman is a little nervous and scared. I won't lie to you it is painful but very much worth it. You forget all the pain as soon as you see that little face. There is nothing like that feeling of having your little one in your arms. Don't let the labor part scare you off. If you would rather use medication rather than natural there are alternatives for painfree or almost painfree childbirth. But as a mom of two I had mine natural and it was all worth it.

That is very normal. My first preg I was terrified! I read every book about preg! But I also took my vitamins, eat healthy, and took care of myself. One thing though most of the people that had let's say traumatic experiences said that they didn't care about the pain once they saw their baby. I don't know if everybody is like that though. And let me tell you is so worth everything that you go through to have a baby, is the best gift ever! Plus you are a woman and we were made to be able to have children and go through it.

completely normal..And when your ready the "want" will out weigh the "fear". Just wait until your ready. Enjoy being a young adult. The rest will fall into place when the time is right.

it's the best thing you can do in life.
when you know you're ready, start practicing stretching yourself out with larger and larger objects. cucumbers and etc. work your way up. once you see that you can take your boyfriends whole hand into your vagina which you probably never thought was possible, you'll realize how elastic the vagina really is and that it will be able to pass a child through.

Wait until you are ready. It does hurt, but they can do a lot now to help the pain.
