Go to the Control Panel through the START BUTTON. You might have to pick CLASSIC VIEW, so you see all of the options.
First, open the Keyboard section, go to INPUT LOCALE and pick your language.
Then go to REGIONAL OPTIONS, and set your language there. Check other settings for time and currency display.
Look over your keyboard carefully. If you are AMERICAN, you will probably suffer from a european keyboard layout.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

It's hard to explain this in Swedish, but here's what needs to be done:
First, find the Control Panel and open it up.
Then, find the Regional and Language Options.
In there, you'll find a whole bunch of regional and language settings that need to be changed to English.
The only way about getting that done might be to set another computer (in English) next to it in order so that you can translate from one to another simultaneously.
