I'm really thinking about trying law school in a couple of years when I finish my BA. Anybody know any thing about LSAT's, good schools, (I'm thinking UT) etc? Any good advice on how to prepare, lessons learned, would be great!

LSAT is best prepared for by doing as many practice problems as possible. Particularly the games section. Do enough of them, you'll notice the same types of questions coming up again. It doesn't really test you on any particular subject matter.

Good schools? Well, people generally just go off the ranking list at US News. Texas-Austin is a very good school.

Umm, well, law schools don't have any majors they require or prefer. You might here logic as a course to take, but I took it and really wouldn't recommend it. It's like when people say to take Latin in order to help on the SAT. Takes much more time than you actually gain any benefit for. Plus, it might screw up your GPA.

Lawyers need to read and write. A lot! So, do what you can to improve your writing. Research papers are actually helpful practice because you're supposed to analyze.
