Because if car parks did not have a 'camber', when it rained they would be nothing more than massive lakes. The slope channels the water away from the car park. Next time look at the bottom of the slope, you might just find a grid!

most trolleys have breaks on them 4 that reason and if dont park at the bottom of the hill

Thats why they sell cheese in a wedge shape so that you can put it under the trolley wheels to stop it going for a burton :)

It is designed so that puddles don't form so we don't get our feet wet. Trolleys are now mostly fitted with brakes which they weren't originally.

The supermarkets have probably got CCTV watching us prats making fools of ourselves trying to control the trolleys.
