>>I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said in the Observer. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."<<<

Does this man have a clue? I don't think so. I don't think he stands a snowballs chance in hell of doing anything constructive other than muck up the race by taking away votes/support to other Democratic candidates who actually are intelligent. I remember this guy questioning people in hearings and he just doesn't know when to shut up. Does anyone out there actually support this chucklehead and why on earth would you?

I think the Democrats will do what they always do.

The race will get nasty, they'll each destroy each other's cred, so when one's left standing, they'll already be tarnished.

That's how California got Arnold.

I remember him well from the hearings about weapons inspections in Iraq. He told Inspector Ritter that was testifying that all the decisions made were above his pay grade so he really did not know what he was talking about. John McCain then told Ritter he would rather accept his word for how things were going because he was on the ground and knew more than some guy riding around in a limo. I was so disappointed when McCain did not get the nomination. Both parties have good candidates they just will not nominate the good ones. Biden judges people's intelligence by their pay grade if that is true he is getting paid way to much. These hearings are so boring but if you watch them you learn so much more about people than when they come out to give their pretty speeches.

You'll be seeing more and more of this as the next election comes closer. I have never been a Biden fan, but I do think way too much is being made of all of this, we all slip from time to time and say something a little off color.

Biden has a long history of making unfortunate comments. Even so, he'd be a better choice than Hillary or Obama. Face it, Democrats, you don't really have a fit contender. A shame you blew off Joe Lieberman.

No, I am not surprised at all. I never liked him since his support for Clarence Thomas as Supreme Court justice. Not because of his ethnicity but because of his politics.

The media and DNC are running to his support saying that if Obama accepted his apology no one else should have a problem with it.

What king of logic is that? If A Republican said that he would be buried in the press, instead the press is burying the story.

Just because a man is inarticulate doesn't mean he can't be a good leader. Just look at George Bush.

Errrrrr, never mind...

I do, he speaks his mind. That says a lot when you look at the field of politicians with a team of speech writers that approve every word that comes out of your mouth. I mean, if he says stuff like that, do you think he'd lie to Americans?
