If it's on the internet, especially if it's an unsolicited email, it is NOT legit. These emails are called phishing. Stupid, overly trusting people answer them and someone on the other end steals their identies. Don't enter these contests and don't respond to ANYONE asking for personal information when you did not initiate the correspondence. You can always check the url, too. For example, my dh frequently gets "emails" from ebay. When he clicks on them though, the url (at the top of your screen) is some weird place, not Ebay. It looks real but it's not. Instead of playing the lottery, put your money in savings. Rely on the old adage, "If it's too good to be true, than it's NOT true."

Sounds too good to be true, Must be a scam, because I doubt that Yahoo and MSN are in the gaming business.

SCAM!!!! It is illegal to require money for you to claim a prize.

Not to mention that it would be illegal for either MSN or Yahoo to hold a lottery....

If it was legit, why would MSN be using Yahoo for its e-mail? MSN would use an MSN e-mail address....

All of those tend to be the comparable and that they are phoney and basically out to get information approximately you so as to sell that information or worse. they frequently at once bypass to the unsolicited mail/bulk document yet especially situations some sneak by way of. purely continually delete them they purely keep on coming and no-one is so fortunate to win plenty funds. LOL keep in mind, too stable to be genuine.

If they want money to give you money, it's a scam. Guaranteed. Likewise if they want any sort of personal information, such as bank account data.
