VERY early 90's series called...

'Inside Herman's Head'

It was about the day to day life of an average guy at an office, but you got to see the internal struggle between the conflicting parts of his brain. This struggle was played out by a stuffy genius portraying his intellect, a beautiful curly-haired woman portraying his love and feminine side, a scrawny scaredy-cat portraying his fear and paranoia, and a slobbish frat-guy portraying his lust and baser instincts.
