Why is it that so many people hate this man? Why is it so hard for people to accept that he knows what he is talking about and he is exposing the truth?

I think it's funny how liberals gave a thumbs down to everyone who likes O'Reilly. It basically answers your question, liberals dont like him because all they do is hate

Maybe it's not just abot politics but about his entire way of thinking that is twisted. This is the same man that accused Sean Hornbeck, the (then) 11 year old boy who was kidnapped and held for 4-1/2 years of actually liking his situation, which more than likely included sexual abuse; and then said he never made that statement. BTW he threw Patty Hearst into that same category of liking the kidnap situation. Not once in this particular rant did he ever mention the psychologist-acknowledged condition known as Stockholm Syndrome.

These things had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the sick nature of his mind.

There's also a matter of the "experts" he puts on to bolster his positions. A couple of days ago he has a "media expert" on. She was such an expert she didn't know that stellar anchor Peter Jennings, was on ABC for 25 years not on NBC as she mentioned and that he was DEAD or that Tom Brokaw retired two years ago and that there has been negligible fall out in the ratings since then.

I just watched a bunch of O'reilly clips last night. I am among the people that can't stand him. I studied politics and am very interested in history, current events, economics and politics in particular. He has a segment called the no spin zone. Which is a very, transparant simple propaganda technique. Of course its spin. He uses his opinions and his 'facts'. However on numerous occasions his facts have been proven to be false. I cringe when i hear him and guys like Rush Limbaugh. To people that are highly educated and knowledgeable, it is easy to read between the lines of what they say and understand what is true and what is spin. However most Americans are not that sophisticated, nor do they read a lot, nor have they had the training to interpret and understand the media and bias.

These guys are very slick and I remember driving throught the US during the last presidential election listening to Limbaugh and others on the radio. I knew what they were saying was pure BS. (The topic was Kerry's war record) (Kerry was a war hero and later fought against an unjust war! Bush conned his way out in a cowardly fashion! Yet these guys somehow talked enough to spin it that Kerry was bad and Bush the noble. this is one example of dozens)

Have you heard of the Colbert report? It basically makes fun of O'Reilly. How he just makes stuff up and is arrogant, a bully, and stubbornly biased. Its very funny and well written. I actually felt ill in my stomach watching O'Reilly clips. It makes me sad that someone like him could have supporters. He is very bad for America in my opinion.

If you want to listen to someone who is really intelligent and actually knows what he is talking about. Check out Noam Chomsky. He did a few lectures called Imperial Grand strategy. Listen to his lectures. It may be a bit hard for you to follow. But if you truly respect intellect you will recognize it there instead of O'Reilly. I actually think he is an idiot.

Despite his messge, some of which I can agree with, his delivery is terrible. Name calling of guests, raising your voice, etc is not only highly unprofessional, it speaks poorly of him, in general. When you disagree with someone, and are an adult, you don't resort to calling that person an idiot, you state your reasons why you believe the person is incorrect-you don't shout over them when they are making a point with which you do not agree. That's is absurd. I hate those kinds of shows-and there are many.

Let's see why do I hate Bill O'Rielly? Well there's that whole phony war on Christmas thing to start or perhaps his crap about secular progressives when he really could care less about religion and the religious as long as they just buy his book, or maybe it's his whole attitude of if the truth ain't exciting make something up, maybe it's how he plays the victim when he's called out on his lies,or his hypocrisy like his crap about immoral stuff on TV and movies but did you read his book about the pimp and the 15 year-old crack whore? " He cam up behind her and told her"Hey baby but down that crack pipe and get my pipe up" ". His sexual harassment of a woman on his staff over the phone trying to get her to engage in phone sex with, oh Bill O. is married too so that might be a big problem, huh? I mean he was kinda down on Clinton. Gee I don't know now he says the kid that was held by the fag guy in Missouri liked being there so he stayed for four years? Attacking the victim of a horrible crime ,yeah Bill's a great guy. I suppose I could have saved you a bunch of reading and just said it in one sentence: Because he's a DICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O'Reilly consistently tells outright lies. He will blatantly lie to support his viewpoint. Also, he spins the stories and facts more then anyone. The reason I don't like him is he is so smug about outright deceiving people by calling his show the "no spin zone" when he spins more then anyone.

Now I have to go fight another battle in the War on Christmas. Oh wait, there is no such thing.

Nobody espically liberals like to being exposed.
Case in point the judge in VT. Who is letting sexual predators on the street without serving time.
How does the liberals respond in defense of the judge or explain why the judge did it and how it is the right thing to do.
Nope they attack him as a person.
They never attack the issues he brings up.
As I am willing to be you will notice on the other posts here.

btw: Just check the posts before me and there are 5 who are doing the typical liberal rant of attacking the person. They are doing a better in defense of my point than I am doing.

I try and watch him every day and believe he makes more sense than the weeping, sniveling and whining liberals that attack him and the President at every opportunity.
Admittedly, I have a Conservative point of view which is what attracts me to Fox News in the first place.
At least O'Reilly is fair in his treatment of both political parties and knows all to well what state this country would be in if someone the likes of a Hillary Clinton were to be elected President (ouch!)

ADD EDIT:
lol...the bleeding-heart liberals have already made a sweep through us posters, giving those with favorable comments about O'Reilly the 'ol "thumbs down"...
as usual (and it comes as no big surprise) they just cannot accept the TRUTH.

Well Mrs B, I couldn't disagree more. O'Reilly is a fraud, and his B.S. is exposed virtually everyday. He reminds me of an eight grade testosterone soaked bully who gets his way through intimidation. If you think people like him and Hannity are responsible journalist, then you don't know what one is. Let me guess, you believe his claim that he's an Independent right?

He has the type of personality you love to hate. I agree with his message and his politics, but I don't like his delivery or the way he talks to his guest. He reminds me of those know-it-all kids growing up. Now he's an adult, who thinks he knows-it-all .
