I've read a lot of books on the Titanic. There were eight members of the Titanic's band. The names of the other seven musicians are listed at the Encyclopedia Titanica website if you are interested - John (or Jock) Hume, Theodore Brailey, Roger Bricoux, John Clarke, Georges Krins, Percy Taylor and John Woodward - no Martin's.

At the time of his death he was 33 and unmarried (although he had recently proposed to his fiancee) and living in Dewsbury. He was buried in his hometown of Colne, Lancashire (his body being one of the few that was recovered, identified and claimed by his family) where a 10ft statue has since been erected in his honour.
