whether that could be a house you own you may placed foam insulation with a sticky decrease back on some surfaces. whether that could be a common double hung window the very precise and backside will do nicely with that form of tape. the standards no longer lots. For this i might get the insulation that has a rubber or vinyl epidermis and a foam middle with a tab on it. It must be stapled or tacked down. You restoration to the exterior and have it so the around foam middle area presses against the window as i slides. of direction you may continuously use duct tape to make a temp seal. you may placed plastic sheeting over the physique. For around the physique of the window i might use the aerosol foam injector obtainable at maximum hardware and abode progression shops. basically shop in mind that as quickly because it is going in that is stressful to do away with. So basically use it to seal cracks between the window physique and the abode. ideally on the exterior. Reflective window movie is surprisingly lots a summer season help. that is surprisingly lots each and all the greater reasonably-priced the form to do it.

sure! take double sided tape, and a trash bag, cut the bag out to where the bottom isn't 'bunched up' and cut to fit your window, leave 2 inches on each edge. now tape from the outside of the window seal around, use the tape under the plastic so it sticks to the wall / frame of the window and the plastic. NOW take a blow dryer-like urs or ur girlfriends or wifes, whatever, and heat it up just back and forth like you do yoru hair. it shrinks it smaller so it seals better. MAKE sure your tape is on good!
OR you can buy the kit at walmart for $10 or so.

cheap and easy is not necessarily best, but if you tightly roll a bath towel and wedge it along the sill and the wall, it does help some.
