No, of course not, you should never beat someone up.
How do you know who took your iPod and lotion? Are you absolutely sure it was her? Did you ask for the stuff back?
Why are you bringing expensive toys to school? iPods don't belong at school. Sure that girl had no business taking your iPod, but, you should not have left it unattended.
$50 lotion? Hello? Why did you bring that to school?
Seems to me that you are showing off how much money you have with the toys and expensive lotion. That annoys other people, so to prevent this from happening again, leave things that are important to you at home!

Wow that would really make me mad too!!! But if you beat her up you would probably get in more trouble than her, so don't do that. Sounds like your are really going to have to watch your stuff at school. It may not do much good but go through the system, report it to your school, and tell your parents schools listen to adults more than kids. You may never recover it, but at least she won't have the satisfaction of knowing she was the one who stole from you, but you were the one who got in trouble for beating her up. Do you have any proof to show it is yours? If so make sure and have that to show everyone too, or witnesses would help. But at least with your new ipod, write down any numbers that would identify it, and mark it permantly to show it is yours. Watch your stuff, too bad there are so many dishonest people in the world, it makes me sad. Sorry Babe, how upsetting.

You seem to get an awfully big allowance to afford things like these, maybe the girl was jealous. Or maybe she can't afford to buy stuff like that for herself, and thought you wouldn't miss them. Talk to the girl, and if she refuses to hand them back, go and see a teacher. Don't confront her with a gang behind you, she'll just deny everything. I'm wondering how you knew it was this girl who took your stuff, and why you haven't spoken to her before now?

wow you must get some great allowance to go and get a new ipod and spend $50 on lotion...
Don't beat anyone up...ask her for it back and if she says no..just walk away and call the Cops..they will go and ask for it back and then all will be said and done..this time put your name or social insurance number on your stuff so it can't be stolen and so you can prove it is yours

you should just pull some pranks on her like doorbell ditching and prank calls. Or Steal her dog or little brother and hold them ransom, legally it makes sense since she stole your Izod and lotion. If Neither works call 911 immediately.

Wow nice allowance.
Any way call the cops and prove to them that it is yours but on the new one put your name on the back even if it does look a little wierd. Or dont take exspensive stuff to school.

Beat that ***** down! If you don't stand up for yourself now, then she and other people will realize they can take advantage of you without retaliation. But do it somehow without getting into serious trouble. In my school if you told the cops, you would have worse things happen to you than get your stuff stolen. And in referencer to the answer suggesting you put your ssn on your stuff, never do that people take your identity that way!

communicate to the critical. If the critical shows submitting a police record, then do, yet maximum possibly, he will call her into the workplace and take a glance. you ought to no longer have it in college besides.
