You can't. It's your choice to believe in whatever you like.

I consider myself a student of science and I am a believer of evolution Yet I see here people saying how there is no proof of God's existence in our world today.

The fact is science cannot disprove God's existence either. The more you learn about the world, the more it makes you wonder, where the hell did all these rules come from? How was it decided that atoms would interact based on electron orbitals always wanting to satisfy 8 valence electrons?

I am not saying that there is a God. I am just saying that there could be one.

How did you know your mother? At birth did someone tell you and you understood that? Or , at birth , you found some undefined but certain love , affection and feelings from a person and you TOTALLY believed and held on to that love ? May be later someone told you that such and such person was / is your mother and you started loving her as the mother. Which is correct?

It didnot matter to you that a person was assigned as your mother. You simply depended on her for your survival , your food , your care.

God is in the exactly same position. You believe it. Your mother was your God. Then may be some else was . Is. This is the principle of God . The mistake that we all make is a proof and you want to see God physically. You cannot. Like you cannot see air. cannot see love. cannot see feelings. You can only feel God.

To me, the only people who could possibly believe in god are those who have "blind faith" or those who don't question what they are told.

Millions of people have died in wars over the centuries fighting that their religion or their god is better than someone else's. Half the people on the planet have no food or water, and so many people are suffering and dying from horrible illnesses. If there was a god, I could never worship or respect anyone with such a badly thought out plan or one with so little power to help us.

The desire to either prove or disprove the existence of God is idle curiosity in my view. We should rather just believe or not... close the chapter and move forward to find out what can maximize our happiness in life.... after a lot of trial and error, each of us gets the same answer... the most fulfilling thing for us to do is to empathize with others and do what that requires us to do. If each of us can maximize own happiness this way, the entire world would be a happier place for all of us. Once we achieve that, we can perhaps sit back and re-examine if God exists or not. Believing or not believing makes no difference in my view to this primary task of maximizing happiness.

I am going to prove to you that God has not contacted humans yet.
I agree that a God would allow humans to have free will (something that many religions and parents forget) so don't tell me that my reasoning eliminates free will.

While God should allow free will he also is expected to act in ways consistent with the Highest Wisdom of all...Isn't he?

We say of parents that they know their children so well that they can even read their minds and predict how they would act in many situations. We are "God's children" (even if we reject him) Aren't we? ... the same as the Devil is still an Angel (of the fallen kind).
So God must have a pretty good knowledge of Human nature he must have known that there would have been many 'false' prophets invoking his name and many more misled followers so sure of their own righteousness as to HATE PASSIONATELY and COMMIT CRIMES IN HIS NAME. Are you with me, are you following?
God should have known that all religions would as a matter of fact declare themselves, individually, to be the True One.

What a wise, all knowing God, would have done to differentiate His truly True message from the rest? He would have been an Equal Opportunity God. He would have sent his message the same day to all corners of the earth, to all ethnic groups, in an equally clear language. One single Divine message sent in a burst to all inhabitants of the Earth. Basically A TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW BY FALSE PROPHETS. This would not pre determine allegiance of all people the this Truly True message, free will would remain a possibility.
Instead of this we have over time, many prophets appearing to completely different ethnic groups, and following this, wars and hatred. This is proof that God has so far not manifested himself and there is no reason for anyone to believe in a negligent God that has divided humanity, promoted hatred and wars.

You can't. The existence of god is not only unknowable, it's highly improbable. While nobody can know (or prove) for certain that there is or is not a god, the probability of god existing is incredibly low, while the probability of god not existing is incredibly high. Any reasonable person looks at the evidence for both cases, looks at the probabilities for and against, and can only reaonsably conclude that there is no god.

You don't need to know that there is a God. You have to BELIEVE that there is really a God. Try it out without any second thoughts and tou'll notice the difference.

I don't get these people that say that there being a "God" is highly improbable! Can they not look around them and see God's work everywhere?? It is faith and common sense-you cannot deny what is around us everyday. Have they not witnessed a miracle? A baby's birth? You can't just look at Scientific facts-you have to look at ALL the facts and have Faith. Without Faith we are lost. God GAVE us KNOWLEDGE the same knowledge we use for Science.
I ask you to talk to God-ask Him if he is real. You will find your answer. God bless.

I have searched many churches through my life and discovered that they all seem to lead you to a door, but, never open the door to know the answers on the otherside. Then I started studying spiritualism, meditation, and holistic adjunctive therapies and I made a discovery. With each technique you take yourself to a level of total relaxation, an altered state of consciousness, where you can visualize different realities, ask questions and most importantly receive answers. I learned methods and discovered prayers to protect myself while in this altered state, Satan does exist and though his power is nothing compared to Gods, we require protection against his influence.
I found that, in this altered state I could ask questions and answers would come to me. Sometimes they would be spoken in my own minds voice, sometimes they would be visualized, like a dream, but the answers come.
I have since learned to listen to for answers to my questions outside of this altered state. To my suprise I get the answers and, they have helped me to set out on a path that is good.
I learned that forgiveness starts by forgiving onesself and kindness and being loving are rewarding. I learned that God really only wants us to walk the walk on his path of goodness. That Jesus died for our sins, so we inherently will sin, but, learning not to repeat the same sin is learning and walking that walk on our path.
I realise the answers and images, which were always good, had to come from a ultimate entity and that entity is God.
I do not always like the answers but I do always accept the answers. God has given me a direction for my life and even though I am not associated with a "organized religion" I am devout in my belief and thankful for the Lords Prayer and Psalm 23 which protects me and the direction my life has taken.

May you find that which you seek.

By the way the book of Psalms is a book of powerful meditations, should you need comfort or guideance.

Good Luck

When you know of people who have been diagnosed with severe deadly illnesses like cancer or heart disease, who have people pray for them by laying hands on them and a few days later they go back to the doctor and the symptoms are all cleared up. That is not a coincidence, I have been part of it many times. Even the intervention of the holy spirit over the phone works incredibly well. Also we are no accident.
