It seems to me you could. Don't abort your child. Go home to your parents right away.

You can divorce your husband for any reason. The first thing you need to do is get out of there so you don't end up on some crime lab show, if you know what I mean. He doesn't want the child so be careful. Secondly, call an attorney and find out if you can get divorced while you're preg. in your state. Can't in mine even if it's somebody else's.

Yes, you can divorce someone for any reason. It's all in how it's defined. If you want this child, you should protect it with all that is holy. Don't let another person convince you to abort. Remember, once it's done, it's done, there's no going back...
He's apparently a dead beat if he has the nerve to ask you to kill his child. He's not worth the dirt he is standing on.
Good luck.

ultimately it is your physique and as your physique he has no rights or say in what you do with it. in spite of the undeniable fact that, in case you abort the infant (I hate the word fetus ... makes it sound like an alien) you're risking dropping him considering will continually stand between the two one in each and every of you. in case you had no purpose of having babies you're able to are turning out to be to be sterilized do no longer you think of? the certainty is that he's satisfied touching directly to the infant and you have taken that exhilaration of predicted fatherhood away by using insisting on an abortion because of the fact the only answer. lower back it is your physique. there is not any comfortable thank you to tell him you have become an abortion nor will there be a comfortable way for him to assert stable bye because of the fact he won't have the ability to stay along with your decision.

If your husband didn't want kids and now you're pregnant, you know he won't have anything to do with that child. And if you knew that when you married the guy, you should have found someone that wanted a family.

When you fill out the reason for divorce, in this case I would call it irreconcilable differences.

If you want him to waive his parental rights to the child, you won't receive any child support from him.

Also, consider taking back your maiden name and giving your child your maiden name as well.

You Can divorce him for many reason, most stated you can just say irriconsilible differences. BUT........
In many states you can not divorce till the baby is born. You can begin the procedding Now. I would start with the legal seperation and custody papers, stating that you get all custody and, if you want, ask him to give up his parental rights. (make sure you know everything that is involed with that before doing it, ie u wont get child support and he can't fight you for custody) Talk to an attorney and get ALL of the info you can before you bring it up to him. Best wishes.

Yes you can. Not wanting his own child and not caring about your feelings is a biggee.
I also agree with Tasha - I would get out. Also contact a lawyer. It sounds like your husband may have issues of some kind.....
Good luck, I wish you the best. Also congratulations on your future son and daughter. I am sure if they could they would be thanking you right now for taking care of them!!!! :) :)

That's so sad...why wouldn't your husband want his own child?

I'd say yes, you can divorce him for any reason. Move in with your parents and contact a lawyer.

You can divorce for any reason . Absolutely do not continue a relationship with a man who would kill his own child. Divorce him now.

I would. A child's life is precious, and no one has the right to "terminate" a pregnancy. As Dr. Seuss said in Horton hears a Who, "A person is a person no matter how small"
God bless you and help you through this tough decision!!!!!
