I am making a mask and even though its not dry I do not trust the plaster will not crack and break. What works best for a final seal

PVA glue as a final couple of coats or you could use a laquer or varnish. lf

Well, you've confused me. Is the mask plaster or is it paper mache? The former would normally be pretty thick and tough and very unlikely to crack although it would break if dropped. The latter is usually a thin shell and should probably be sealed with shellac or urethane varnish to keep out moisture.

I have used plaster paris before and it does a pretty good job of not cracking. Other plasters have not worked to so well for me.
