if a sex offender was jailed, where would you put him, in a cell of his own, or with other prisoners

Well I think they should be with other sex offenders. There are a lot of sex offenders around. SOme of them are out of jail at this time, but I think they should be in prison for life. There is a website in my state that has all sex offenders in the state, and it states what crime they did sex offender related such as 2nd degeree sexual assult to a child etc.

personaly i think the sex offender should be put in a room with the parents and than let justice truly be satisifed but it's not the way things work here but they should not be given special treatment at all and should be treated as every other prisoner it's time that the laws were stricter and punishments harsher on child sex offenders. after all they gave no thought to the damage both physcially or mentaly that they inflected on the child or children so why should they recieve special treatment in jail to protect them......

Sex offenders should, and do, go to jail for their crimes, depending on the law appying to the crime they were convicted of. I imagine that they are treated just like the rest of the population. I don't see why they should get "special treatment". If the general population shares a cell, they should too. If they get their own cells, they should too.

one of the worst crime that can be committed is against a child. i've worked in a daycare and i've seen the results of "sex offenders". i've worked with children that have been sexually abused by some member of their family. if it was up to me i'd lock the person in a smelly, moldy, jail cell hung up by his two big toes till he died or his toes fell off. in the usa we can't do that, so putting him a jail cell with other inmates works fine too. i hear that most inmates view sex crimes as the worst of all and those in their jail guilt of sex crimes get the due treatment. good enough for me.

In a cell of his own. All people in prison should be segregated and in cells of their own, to protect them from other prisoners.

A man was arrested up here for raping and murdering a girl and he sat in solitary through his entire trial for his own safety. Now he's on death row so I'm pretty sure they're secluded too.
I know that if he would have been locked up with the other prisoners they would have killed him in his sleep. He shouldn't have been given ANY special treatment because of the heinous nature of his crimes.

They should be killed for that vcrime against children and then the older ones sent to an island and let them support themselves.
