My partner will be 24 soon, we have a 2.5yr old girl together and expecting a little boy anyday now. Will he be 'allowed' the snip on the NHS or is there a certain criteria you have to meet (age limit etc?)

This depends on the Doctor's opinion. Most people are shocked that I got sterilised aged 32 with one child. But my surgeon said that he has sterilised people who have no children. If you have no luck via the NHS try Marie Stopes, they charge, but their fee is subsidised by charity and they don't judge people.

can be at any age, but he has to be sure that he will not, at some time in the future want more kids, maybe not with you as you could divorce or you could die. He must realise that reversal isn't that sucessful.

I don't think there's any particular criteria--you would have to check with a doc--but from my experiences--it is his choice--you will have 2 children--so there's no reason he can't.
