Well...that would be the long neck, allowing them to graze on plants and trees that have foliage much higher off the ground and consequently out of the reach of most other grazers on the african plains. Giraffes also have very adept tongues, allowing them to wrap their tongues around the branches to strip leaves from them.

Are you serious? It's long neck! The topmost leaves of trees are the food source that is protected from other plant-eating animals because they can't freaking reach them. Giraffes, however can...because they have such long necks...get it?

The animals eat each other because of the first sin which was done by Adan. In the Bible says that we can eat any animal, just that we need to drain all the blood from the body. Also in the New Testament, which says in a chapter that Peter had a vision of many animals in a canvas (or net), and Lord told him to eat, but he said no, because the animals were unclean (or unworldly) and God said (translating from Spanish language): "Don't call unclean what I have clean." In other words: God is telling Peter that we can eat from the animals. Also in the Old Testament, there's a chapter in were it says (Sorry don't have the Exact chapter on me right now) that Elijah had a stream of water to drink and crows that were send by God gave him meat throughout the day. So Lord gave him meat, he approves it. You can eat meat if there's no blood in it. And the animal chain was created because of the sin that Adan did, which is one of the consequences.
