He used to have a show on radio1 called Jam. I seem to be the only person in the world to remember it.

Remember him?? I worship the man!!

Blue Jam was the Radio 1 show, he'd already got The Day Today and Brass Eye under his belt by then. And of course, Jam was the tv series to come out of the radio show.

Added to that he has had a hand in Nathan Barley and The IT Crowd. You have some catching up to do... lucky you!

I love Chris Morris and I'm so glad someone has finally asked a decent question in the tv section.

May I also recommend Armando Ianucci. Similar satirical and absurd humour.

I never listened to the radio show although I was aware of it. I've seen the series of Jam, as well as Brass Eye and The Day Today. He also wrote The IT Crowd (I think, he had a small role in it anyway). He wrote Nathan Barley, but he wasn't in that.

enable's smash it down Kurt Cobain - does not sing ideal, regardless of the indisputable fact that it really is grunge guy. Grunge isn't about being ideal. it really is like a punk ideas-set with only a touch diverse musical element to it. Krist Noviselic - he's a gorgeous good bass participant. he's not tremendous, he's not undesirable. Dave Grohl - A ******* magnificent drummer. user-friendly as that. it really is in preserving with opinion, yet Nirvana is solid as a band, even regardless of the reality that their frontman isn't the finest suited. i'm a guitarist, and that i'm 15. i will surely with little question say skill smart, i'm better effective at guitar then Kurt Cobain. they purely artwork properly as a band, and they were given this ideas-set that folk purely love. they're Nirvana, and they gained't care what you imagine on the proper of the day

Of course, after the 'Brass Eye' paedophilia episode hes taken a bit of a back seat in TV making. Since then he has written 'Nathan Barley' with Guardian TV critic Charlie Brooker and i think the second series is about to go into production.

I think he's great. I'm still waiting for another series of Nathan Barley - I sometimes think I'm the only person who liked it, though. His humour is too bleak and too 'real' for a lot of people, unfortunately.
He seems to have absolutely no interest in being a celebrity, either - which is another reason to like him.

Ah, he's the man! His most recent work was writing Nathan Barley. The guy is a hero, and was producing cutting satire before its time.
Respect!
