1. Yeah, I think thats just forgetting :)
2. I think that's exhaustion. If not it might be depression and you should see or talk to someone about it, like a close friend or, possibly, a doctor.
3. I'm a guy, but if you don't feel safe with a guy you should determine if that's because he truly is unsafe to be with (past abuser, bad driver, whatever the case may be) or if it's something only you feel and may be depression again. (IMO) Ask his mates what he's like, is he dangerous, etc. or ask YOUR mates what they think of him.
4. Maybe you're a homebody like me or maybe depression again.
5. There's nothing wrong with wanting to have new experiences, I would say spend X-mas with a different family if you really want to. Maybe spend a couple of hours next X-mas with your own family, then spend the rest of the day elsewhere, or go to a X-mas celebration that doesn't fall exactly on Dec. 25th, if at all possible.
All 5 ?'s taken together, it sounds like you are depressed to me, but what do I know, I'm no doctor. But it might be worth at least telling your doctor about these feeling or calling a depression hotline if you don't have a doctor. Best wishes to you.

well 1. drives me crazy. It's so annoying when you know who the person is but you can't put a name or place with the face and it bugs me all day.
2. happens me fairly often. I have a great time but then I'd eat the head off ya for no reason.
3. Some people are born to worry. I don't do this too often but every now and then I get very paranoid. If I'm having a good time with someone who obviously likes me I have to wonder if they are spoken for and are just winding me up. It ruins the moment.
4. This happens all the time. Go out with some friends to the movies and then to the pub for a few drinks and a chat and I want to go home. I think this is because I don't drink and all my friends do. It's not much fun being the only sober one and having to drive everyone home and listen to them talking s**te.
and finally
5. Can't say I've ever felt this one. I would hate to be away from home for christmas and I love my family too much to leave.

Yes. When I saw my uncles for the last time knowing it would be the last time. Happens now and then. I either don't feel well or am so tired that I hurt from being awake for so long or am troubled by a current situation. My dates. Wow. Out with colleagues or a good friend having a good time but wanting to be home with my family. Just wanting to know how others lives were different and appreciating the differences as an adolescent.

1. Yes, I get that a lot. I recognize someone, but I don't know where I know them from, what their name is, or if it's just a figment of my imagination.
2. The day has been fantastic, but there's a part of me that feels something is missing, and I don't know what to do about it.
3. I'm a guy, so I really haven't felt like that, but I've been with someone I care about, and I don't feel as happy as I should.
4. My friends are great, but there are those days where I just want to be at home alone, no matter how much fun we're having.
5. I love my family beyond belief, but they drive me nuts sometimes, and I just want to get out of my house, away from them.

Yes to all five. It's only human to have such a wide range of emotions and not be able to understand them. We are very complex beings, and therapists all over the world are still trying to figure people out. Sometimes I don't even think there's any rhyme or reason to our feelings, and oh my gosh, dare I say, even people raised in a wonderful, loving, fully functional home can have problems!
Your curiosity is normal, and it doesn't mean you're not loyal to your partner, family and friends. We often crave what we can't necessarily have, such as, wanting to see what other families do at Christmas. It may seem like their holidays are happier, fuller, or just plain better, but they may be thinking the same thing about yours.
No matter what the situation, the grass isn't always greener on the other side, and as humans, it's our nature to always wonder if it is. If this is something you're just curious about, don't sweat it! If it's something that's really bothering you, try starting each day with making a list of at least five blessings. You don't need to write them down if you don't want to, just ponder them over breakfast. If you're having trouble, start out with something simple like, "I am blessed that I have breakfast everyday, and I have the brain function and body parts to be able to feed myself today and enjoy the flavor of what I'm eating."
Good luck with this, and please know that you're not alone.... YOU'RE HUMAN!

3. Ive never actually been in a relationship, so im afraid i cant say how i´d feel...sorry.
4. Well, maybe this is just bcuz i never really got to hang out with my friends much, but no i have to honestly say that i´ve never wanted to just get home..even if its like really late n i had to get up early or even if i dont feel that well...cuz to me, having a laugh with my friends is something really special...so all that other stuff, is just worth it for me.

Thank you for the interesting questions, they really made me think about stuff....and hey, just so you know, you feeling this way, is just completely normal, ok? Trust me i know what its like to have contradicting feelings sometimes...i feel like that alot of the time.
