1) The govt can't be both incompetent and brilliant enough to pull off a conspiracy, too. Though it's obvious they exploited the tragedy.

2) Nah.

3) Some truth to this. An oil company bought the designs for NIMH batteries, for instance, and made them unavailable to EV builders.

5) Too old.

6) A conspiracy would be kept secret. This was just extreme politics.

7) Nah.

9) Nah.

10) Could have been the reason - or there may have been a different reason.

You are most likely right on all but #5. If Hitler is alive he is over 100 years old. With his health problems I doubt that he would have survived this long even if he had fled the Berlin Bunker at the end of WWII to hide in Uraguay or someplace.

I also have a problem with #7. Atlantis is a mythical place that never really existed and never will.

Well, I would also doubt # 9 as we are done with the 20th Century and we are still here.

Thank you for your input the points are interesting and cause one to think. It might be fun to research each of these to see what you can find.
