I have registered with second life, it looks like fun but everytime I sign in i get the message Second life has crashed. can anyone help? I can't find help on their site

I wouldn't bother if I were you. I installed it a couple of days ago and it is rubbish. I uninstalled it yesterday. I have this morning discovered a trojan in my PC which anti-virus has now deleted. I am sure it came in with secondlife + you should see how many items are on the install, it takes nearly all the memory up

Ok I may of not have played second life but I do know a little bit about how gaming works. Now if second life is a disk game and it doesn't work look under it and see if its scratched up. Most people take that for granted if it is scratched up I would recommend taking it back immediately. But if its a down loadable game then in that case. If its graphics take up WAY to much then it'll mess up your computer and and wont play. But if its graphics take just enough to play then it might be because of coursers, pop ups, advertisements, or if u have diel up and and it jest wont work.. Ok so when these are the problems then you would have to either buy a new computer that has the requirements and more or you could jest update your computer. Also If it is a down loadable game you might of not downloaded it correctly and it wont load up. If that's the case then re-download it and click "save" before download then it will save to your computer and you can play it. Hope you can play it sounds like a awesome game!

While their platform can only handle some 50 - 80 people in any specific area at one time....you are likely experiencing difficulties related to your own hardware and specifically your RAM and game card capacity....how old is your computer? Good Luck!

second life needs a fairly up to date pc with a good graphics if your pc isn't up to the task it will not work. Another good site is moove.com its not so hard going on the graphics but good fun also tell them shirlyxxx recommended you if you join it
