I am sorry to hear you didn't make the team. But what doesn't kill you make you stronger. Is it a disappointment? Of course. But you can either give up or learn from the experience. Work hard on your game, spend more time on the courts, practice, practice, practice. The greats haven't been born great. Roger wouldn't be anyone if he hadn't worked his *** off since he was a kid.
And the comments? Turn that into your motivation. Prove them wrong. Show them what they're missing.
And remember, a friend isn't someone who takes a ride with you on a limo. It's someone who sticks around when the limo breaks down.

You don't need to be in the tennis team to do well. The fact that you didn't make the team probably means you gotta work a bit harder on your game if you want to succeed as a tennis player, but it doesn't mean the end of your career.
Should you care what other people think of you? I think you know the answer to that one already fella. And anyhow, its so much fun proving everyone wrong and sticking two fingers up at everyone who didn't believe in you.

Tennis as you know is an individual sport . You should only be concerned in try outs what you are thinking. Once you make the team you can cheer for your teamates as much as you want and make friends with whoever you want . Zone everything and everyone out while you are playing , it is the only way to go.

Of course not. Just keep working amd you will make the team. Don't care what other people think because your friends, or your "Real" friends will always support you.
