I do love rock music, and this is why :
1. Music - rock music is the one of the most energic, attractive, speedy, hard, rough, tough, brutal, crazy, angry, cold, etc. All of that being mixed into one kind of genre that make people so happy, want to dance like hell, explore their madness in some good way, enjoy the life cause life is just like rock music, etc. So nothing compare to this music in that condition, especially when you listen to the sub genre of rock music called metal music.
2. Lyrics - rock music give some lyrics that are really express what is inside of every artist's heart who sing it. The artists express what they see, they hate, they love, they feel, etc, into a sheet of paper, and this paper become so poem if we read it, and this paper become the very interesting thing cause in there we will find anything so true, no lies in there. No even 1 lie in there. Just lines of beautiful words that explain the truth.
3. Social - this music is really can make anybody get close to each other, through the music, every kind of genre, we will feel so very close to each other especially when we are in the same music genre. And rock music is really amazing thing for you to unite anyone, you can see how many people come to a rock concert, that's the prove that the rock music can unite people in one time and in one place.
4. Art - if you see the most progression thing in rock music industry is their art, i mean the artwork for each format that the artist will release, in cd or vinyls etc. The progression are so very beautiful, the rock music artist right now become so serious in doing their cover art, and years to years the cover art become so well to see and to value.
That's the 4 reasons why i do love rock music.

It's great because it has the most energy and emotion of any type of music. And most rock music is real; the artsts are more about creating music and showing it off than anything else. In other genres, it's all about wearing the skimpy outfits, dancing best, and putting the most pictures of themselves on the CD case.
And rock music has the most subgenres for people to enjoy, ranging from soft folk rock to heavy metal. There's something for everyone to love.

All music is designed (in my opinion) to express emotions at its most basic. Personally, I relate better to the majority of emotions expressed in rock music. However there is a lot of "rock" music that makes me want to shoot myself in the foot. The beauty of music is that it means different things to different people. The instruments that are typically used in rock music convey certain emotions better than others. There is nothing better than a rock song that is raw and brutal.(and not in that metal sort of way) I guess that it is just the most honest type of music. Not to mention, the way certain songs make want to be on stage wailing on a guitar or singing like Robert Plant. No other genre does that for me.

Rock music has an energy and a directness that I appreciate. At its best it is more about expression and feeling than style.
