Well, after 15 years in my field, I have learned one thing. Any job in the medical field is about as safe as you can get. They damn sure can't outsource that job to India. I would say anything relating to the medical field is a great choice of careers right now. Until they determine a way to perform operations from 3rd world countries into the US, you'll always be able to find work.

Are you looking to get an Associates degree? You can go to trade school and learn how to do them. You don't really need a degree. I know people who are insurance clerks, and they don't even have a degree. If you are in college, I think you should aim a little higher. Do you really want to make $20,000 a year?
