There is no chemical formula for atoms.An atom is represented
by ZXA where Z is the atomic number,X is the element and A is the mass number.

the formulas of atoms are currently called symbols and they can be 1 or 2 or 3 letters.

It depends on the atom. They're not usually called formulas if they only involve one atom.
