Hi,
Back in the 1960 certain types of girls did use their high heeled metal tipped shoes as a weapon. I was a Copper in those far off days and I did come across a chap with the shoe embedded in his head. His comment as you might guess was a lot stronger than Owwch. He survived, just.
So metal tipped heels being dangerous is not new and they can hurt like hell. But for a girl in a tight spot, they could prove to be very useful.
PS. Maybe they could be handy for blokes too; I mean the ones who like wearing high heels.

i could only roll my eyes and look at the matching marks on both of my legs

I agree they cause injuries and also ruin any vinyl flooring, make dents in wooden flooring, and I would not like anyone to walk on my carpets in them.
