It was under "rejection" - do you think he's using it or that someone used it on him??

He's probably using it. Brought on by feelings he is getting from you. He is probably all confused because you snoop in his private matters, like looking through his phone. He is most likely afraid that you also check his email, look at the history on his web browser, and are generally ruining his life with your insecure invasions into his private things. If I where you, I would keep my nose out of his private things and quit being so distrustful. Maybe then his attitude will change.

Most likely it wasn't used on him if it's in there under "rejection" because if someone used it on him, it would likely be in there under "Suzie" or "Jenny"' or whatever name they gave him when they gave him the Rejection Hotline number :) [though I guess it's possible it was used on him originally and he only stored it as "rejection" AFTER getting rejected by it].

Anyway, depending on how optimistic you are (or how much you trust him), you can pick scenario A or B:

A) be happy that he's got the number in his phone because maybe he's giving it out to other girls who hit on him (meaning he's faithful to you)

B) be pissed that he's got it in his phone because maybe he's using it so he'll recognize it if he ever receives the Rejection Hotline (meaning he's not so faithful since he's asking girls for their number!)

P.S. IF he happens to be out there cheating, you can always break up with him (maybe using www.BreakingUpIsEasyToDo.com) and then get over it on National "Get Over It Day" (www.GetOverItDay.com)

He might have thought it was funny, and just wanted to keep it for friends. I wouldn't worry about it. I couldn't bring it up too him. Why are you looking at his cell phone, you worried he is cheating? You need to date someone you can trust...cause when you get married you are going to be with them for a long time.

Just ask him. No relationship is worth it if you can't be open and honest.
