I think you phrase the question incorrectly I don't think liberals hate America what I think has happen is that they are so angry with Bush and they have such a irrational hatred of the man that it has affected there reaction to him so no matter what he propose they will automatically be against.
I have been around 9 presidents and I have never seen this kind of vitriol except maybe for Nixon. If you notice the vitriol is always intense against republicans encourage by our national media?

I don't think all Liberals hate the US, just like not all Conservatives are out for the best interests of the country...I think the far side of both areas are ruining the US...I think idiots like Fonda, Penn, Robins, and that ugly chick...i forgot her name...are an embarrassment and they do hate America...my scrotum is smarter than they are and it is sad...I say if you are going to protest...at least know some facts...also too that "Conservative" inbreed church that protests at Military funerals need to be beat about the head and neck...so that goes to show that their are wackos on both sides

Liberals love America just as much as conservatives do. Conservatives want you to think that liberals are evil, unpatriotic tree-huggers. Liberals want you to think that conservatives are close minded bigots. Neither view is correct.

I'm a liberal and I love the United States. (Notice that the name of our country is the "United States of America". "America" includes all of the countries of both North and South America, whereas "United States" is specific to us.)
