...to get waxed and it wasnt until I got home that I realised the woman actually waxed off some of my skin! Why has this happened- did she do something wrong or is it just one of those things? I have been to her before and had no problems, but she didnt say anything about it at the time and today im in pain!

R u taking any skin medication -Acutain? Waxing can take differently at different times of the day and season also. Sounds like your skin must be out of sorts, or the wax was either too hot/cool, or left on mabey a sec. to long. Use neosporin consistantly. It happens!!!

Sounds like the wax was too hot. Something similar happened to my aunt. Go back and show her where the skin has come off. You might get a refund or store credit.

Usually it's if the wax strip isn't changed often enough - the wax pulled off builds up on the strip and kind of clogs it up and will sometimes take skin too - not pleasant and will be uncomfortable for a while. Mine was my underarm about five days before my wedding!

As already stated the wax was too hot, we were taught to test the wax frequently, although you can usually tell by consistency as it gets very runny when too hot. It does happen occasionally, and will heal quickly, I would also suggest using tea tree oil to help heal it.

call the salon and tell them. she probably just had the was too hot and didnt even know it happened. put some vitamin e on it so it doesnt scar and so it heals faster. i would definitely call them to get your money back or something and to at least let them know if nothing else, so they do it to others. if they give you a hard time, tell them your going somewhere else and you will be sure to let everyone know why. or mention the better business bureau, that always gets em.
