Who has never read a Harry Potter book? I just got a e-mail from Barnes and Noble to pre-order book 7. I never read the first 6!!!

I haven't read the books or seen the movie(s) and I don't intend to. I don't like that weird wizardry stuff. I would however like to see the play where Harry Potter (sorry, don't know the actors real name) is naked.

No, i didn't read any of the Harry Potter books...
I saw the movies first.... and i knew that after i saw the movies, i just wouldn't be that into the books...
it's just the way my brain works...
i prefer to read the book first... and then watch the movie...
i doubt i will ever read any of them either...

I love Harry Potter and I am 24 years old. I know plenty of people who do not read ANYTHING. And my cousin reads all the time but won't touch Harry Potter. I don't know why though. I guess I will let her answer this question too.

I have never read one of those books and never will. I saw a program about the real author who wrote the first few books & someone ( a friend of her's, I think ) stole the story and then published the Harry Potter books herself. That author will never get my time of day.

No there are others who have never read Harry Potter. They are very entertaining books though. I highly recommend them.

No that has got to be one of the stupidest book series EV ER.. Who wants to read about a MAGICAL little boy.. that is just not my style so i will NEVER read any of em or watch their movies.
AND let me tell you i read about 6 books a week and i wont TOUCH that series!

I am a university Prof - literature. I read the first one as my son had read it and said I should too. It was not bad. Anything that gets kids reading is good in my opinion.
