How to save favicon of any site on my computer?

If you are wanting to save the actual image file on your computer just use the browsers view source option. Then at the top of the html page look for link rel="shortcut icon" you will then see the favicons image link, for example below is yahoo answers favicon.
You can then right click on the favicon and save on your computer
