Firstly let us remember Brown's fingerprints are all over everything Blair has done. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan were all done with his knowledge and consent. He famously vanishes or refuses to answer difficult questions. If he becomes PM and that is not certain as Blair can still screw him and will if he can he (Brown) will still practise the art of mendacity..
Since New Labour are forever telling us that all decisions are collectively arrived at in the Cabinet that means that Blair is merely the leader of this 'revolting' mob and responsibility rests with them all.
Who to vote for is a difficult question as they are all(politicians) tarred with the same dishonest stick. I'll wait a bit longer to decide.

Blair made clear before the election that he would leave ofice during the Parliament if he won. Everybody knew at the time that Brown would almost certainly succeed Blair as Labour leader, and Brown and Blair appeared together on Party Political Broadcasts. And with this information sufficient people voted Labour for them to get a majority in the House of Commons. Given all this about the 2005 election, the answer is presumably "yes".
Whether you or I, or other people answering, personally want Brown as PM is another matter.
One thing is glaringly obvious, Brown is desperate himself to become PM!
P.S. I voted Labour in 2001, but swopped to Green in 2005. And recent studies about global change have made voting for a party concentrating on the environment even more vital. Also, if you look at the opinion polls a Lib Dem vote is, as a matter of fact, not obviously a wasted vote. The LIb Dems may be in a good third for the entire country, but that means that in many seats they are main alternative to the sitting party (and they have come from third to win seats before now). Whatever Cameron says, you only have to look at Tory councillors and members (to their credit) to know the Conservative party cannot sustain a Blair-style "stand your principles on their head" act.

Yes I want Gordon Brown as Prime Minister, and there is nothing that could persuade me not to vote Labour at the next election.
Gordon Brown as Prime Minister will be a breath of fresh air in Government; he will rebalance the economy further in favour of the less well-off (he has made great strides already), he will not be George Bush's poodle, and he will bring a common decency and humanity, and care for the people, that Blair the power-hungry dictator, never has.
Revolt serves no purpose and achieves no end.

I don't trust G Brown, don't know why, some instinct I guess, but I don't like the idea of him being Prime Minister.
There is little difference between Labour and Tory these days, the labour party has moved so much to the right since the days of Tony Benn and Michael Foot, that they are as right wing now as the Tories of the 50s and 60s with people like Macmillan in charge. They are as money grabbing these days as the capitalists they at one time despised and fought against.

I do not. Brown is the most boring uncharismatic politician of all time.He loves himself, has a hatred of businessmen and most people.
He hasn't an ounce of intuition, common sense, ability or interest in anyone other than himslef and his pathetic ego problem. Why the h*ll is the idiot still there after ten years? Please can someone do the decent thing? Buy him a retirement home......
Nothing would change my mind about Gordon Brown or New Labour. My vote will go elsewhere, not, I might add, to any of the three main parties. All of them are intent on destroying this country!!

Revolt is our only option, we don't have a choice, but we should have one!. This government has destroyed this country, they have ignored the people with lies (weapons of mass destruction and rockets attacking us) yet no rockets can travel that distance, but when Tony sells you something you buy it. We are all to blame for allowing them to lead us down the garden path, we are going to pay the price very soon. GOD HELP US AND OUR CHILDREN TOO.

I would NEVER vote for Nu or Old Labour. NEVER have and NEVER will.
Brown reminds me of a Rocky movie that ends in the first 3 seconds with him out cold, face slobber-kissing the blood-and-urine-soaked canvas, a*s stuck up in the air waiting for Blair to stick the winner's umbrella in there and open it for the last thrill of his f*g life, a mismatched armless Pygmy.
