Garth,
Bugs is actually a girl bunny, born Lauren Jennifer Bunny in Brooklyn, New York on March 21, 1925. She came out to Hollywood in the early 40's and found that there was no dough in being a doe, so she disguised herself as a boy and was immediately hired by Warner Brothers. Lauren fell in love with and married Elmer John Fudd in 1953.
