Try butter or mayonnaise or peanut butter.
Rub it into the gum and the oil will loosen the gum.
It's how we always got gum out of hair as kids and how we get gum out of our dog's fur!
But wash immediately afterwards to remove the oil!

You can use one of two things that you can find right in your own home. The first you need to take an ice cube and freeze the gum that is on the mentioned items. Then take a dull item like a butter knife and scrape it off gently. Keep repeating the freezing with the ice until all the gum is removed. The next item you may want to try is peanut butter. Peanut butter breaks down the gum and makes it easier to remove, still use a butter knife to remove the gum.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

I know you're going to think that this sounds CRAZY and it does but seriously, try this! Chill with an ice cube and scrape off what you can. After you have off all you can, apply a teaspoon of extra-strength BenGay or IcyHot to gum, heat it with a hair dryer and pick off residue with a polyethylene (no SARAN) food wrap. Then, blot area with detergent solution and rinse with warm water or wash with warm washcloth if you're cleaning the car seat. Whatever you do, DONT USE PEANUT BUTTER to remove the stain..it's a old rumor that DOESN'T work on clothing or materials!!!!! It tends to compound the problem.

Put your jeans in the freezer for about an hour, take them out and get a butter knife and it should scrape right off. For the car seat try using a cube of ice so that it hardens up and use the same method you will get some but I don't know whether you will get all of it off the car seat.

first try an ordinary ice cube. Rub the ice cube on the gum and that freezes it, then pick it off the jeans or the seat. it will make it easier to remove.

Hi! Might try using some WD-40. I do know that peanut butter will remove gum from hair.

Try body scrub on your car seat. Apply with a washcloth and lightly scrub. It worked for me.
