Humans can think without words, think about babies who are clearly beginning to develop their understanding of the world using their senses but can't use language yet - they can't use words so they couldn't be thinking with words at all. Maybe that's why we don't remember so much of our life events as we grow up as we haven't crystalised the thoughts with words, but we tend to remember traumatic emotional events because the memory of them is burned into our thoughts. So I would say yes we can but it's not as good or as long lasting as thinking with words. That is what I think anyway!

No - and if you think about it, you cannot remember without words either. That's why we can't remember things before we were able to form words. I read an article about this a few years ago in Science Digest.

no. you can not think without words. one time I had a really bad scare, which caused me to have total amnesia. everything was gone, even language. I looked around in awe. I walked around, when I came to the stairs it really frightened me. I didn't know what it was or how to use it, but I was afraid of it. I didn't have any 'thoughts' all I had was visual input and wonder.

yes, people that do not read for whatever reason still think. If they don't know words than my guess pictures are more likely how they would think.

You confuse thought and language and are about 50 years out of date. Chomsky showed that thought and language are basically different things. The language area, excised, has shown this is quite well supported empirically.

yes,its hard but not immposible because earlier there werent words so people used pictures or sounds 2 experres what they wanna say.so yaeh i could think of it but its difficult!

no. the inner thoughts can be judgmental, unrealistic, and could get you in trouble. my self i don't think it could give a good judgment call. there is something else besides it, that does.
am sure that when persons say god told him to do it, that inner voice was active. anyway that's what i think !
