This is supposedly for his work in the area of Global Warming. It doesn't seem to matter to anyone that much of his book has been proven to be incorrect. Two scientist just came out the other day saying that this is natural weather trends. Maybe Al should study weather trends also instead of writing books before all the facts are in. Anyway what do you think? Oh, Hollywood is also honoring him with an Oscar Nomination for the movie. Personally, I don't buy the whole global warming issue, but tell me what you think. Please try to write complete sentences and answer without slurring the President, he didn't write the book.

TexasRose I didn't tell you how to respond, I simply ask that you write in a coherent manner and not slurr President Bush. I am interested in peoples responses, but am entitled also to my opinion. It is possible to answer with the name calling. Thank you for your response to my question.

The inside track is saying that the 'scientists' are going to admit that there is NO Direct correlation between global warming and mankind . Watch for that to come out this week or next .
P.S. - I loved your comment about answering in 'complete sentences' and not 'slurring' the President . We both know who that was aimed at !!!!!!

I watched the movie...more out of curiosity and the ability to discuss it. And I found it a tad boring...as is the man. He oversimplified issues, and took 90 minutes to say what could have been said in 30!
That said, I think some of the findings were interesting...particularly the chart illustrating the weather trends over hundreds of years...and seeing the difference in just the last few. Hard to disagree with that. Whatever the cause, there is no disputing the dramatic changes. Worth the study, certainly, if there is something that man can do to reverse it.
He has succeeded in creating a worldwide discussion about something we all share. Not a bad thing. Is is worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize? Not sure. But he's as deserving of the nomination as Bono...who also strives to bring awareness to a situation which requires the attention.

It would not suprise me to see him win the Nobel(if think nobel is french for liberal) Peace Prize(NPP). I mean they did give it to Jimmy Carter for crying out loud. The NPP has a history of giving the award to liberals who are anti-american and anti-freedom. It wouldn't suprise me if Suddam Hussien isn't on the list. As for hollywood they can just go crawl back under the rock. I can't stand actors and musicians thinking that their oppinons matter more than everyone elses just beacasue there famous. I have personally made a vow that if a musciain or actors makes a public spectacle of themselves regarding polotics that I will just not buy their product. I don't need to be told what to do by famous people. I am perfectly capable of making up my own mind. And as for Al Gores movie. That wingbat doesn't know what he is talking about. There are just as many scientist who refute global warming as those who say it exists. And he says that denying global warming exists is like deny the holocaust existed. Boy he just doesn't get it.

Al Gore is a full time professional politician. If you can think of a worse slur than than I'd like to hear it. Global warming will remain controversial. If we are the cause, we are so screwed, because, short of shutting down all energy production over the whole planet (Back to the Sone Age!) I don't know how we could even begin to slow or stop the process.

Yes, I heard on the news this morning that he has been nominated.
As for the rest of your question...it is my opinion that the two scientists were ordered to say what is only 'pleasing' to the government. I take it you are one that just doesn't 'get it' yet. Your comments telling posters 'how to' answer your question is much like what the government does. If you don't want to hear opposing comments, why not just say so?
