Any girls out there grow their nails long specifically to scratch with?
Ever used them to defend or attack?

no. i hate having them long and not supposed to anyway since i'm student nurse

I have quite long nails, but don't grow 'em to scratch... I think they look nice. I've never used them to fight either, but I'm not an angry person. There are a lot of disadvantages to having long nails. I keep getting them caught when I open doors, I scratch my face when I try to put cream on and it's harder to type legibly.

i wish i could grow my nails long but they're really rubbish and break all the time!! however there is such a thing as too long, especially when you have to type things!!
but yeah i use them to scratch and defend myself!! lol

girls at my old school would grow their nails long and then file them into a point so they could pinch people and break the skin. ( i did not do this, those girls were CRAZY)

I've got acrylics, so I can't scratch anything, even myself.... lol

all the time and i sharpen them into nice points nice clean gouges he he
